The need for a Representative

IC-4S was created in 1999 when a group of manufacturers in the electronic components industry realized they could have significant benefits by working with a local independent sales and marketing organisation. This organisation is complementary to the own direct sales channels and distribution channels and very often cooperates and exchanges information and expertise with those.

The founders of IC-4S were already involved in the electronic components and systems business in different companies and functions since 1988 and were able to cover the needs of those manufacturers in the Benelux region.

Very quickly the results became visible and IC-4S expanded to an organisation  of 11 people over 6 countries today while representing ever more product manufacturers providing non competitive product portfolio's.

Product Line history

• 1999: IC-4S is founded in Belgium and Xilinx appoints us as their representative in the Benelux

• 2001: Intel appoints us to be the representative in the Benelux and Iberia.

• 2003: Xilinx appoints us to run the European EMS Quote Centre (ended in 2008).

• 2003: Xilinx signs up IC-4S as their representative in Iberia.

• 2005: IC-4S Electronique in France is founded and starts its activities.

• 2005: Enpirion signs up with us in all territories.

• 2006: QNX appoints us as their distributor in the Benelux..

• 2006: GSI Technology signs up with IC-4S Benelux & Iberia.

• 2006: Xilinx appoints us as thier representative in France.

• 2007: GIPS signs up with IC-4S Benelux & France

• 2008: QNX appoints us as their distributor in Spain and Portugal
